# Guia

> Guia is Matthieu Crédou's practice on AI agent identity, agentic protocols and the DNS. It publishes a paid study on how AI agents are identified, and offers expert calls, briefings and registry consulting. Matthieu Crédou has 20 years in domain name registries, 17 extensions approved by ICANN, and is a former member of the Afnic executive committee.

- [Read before you build on an AI agent identifier — Edition 1](https://guia.fr/agent-identity/): what 27 initiatives that identify AI agents (DNS, payments, identity, traffic, certification, access management), read in their own texts, say and do not say about the string that names an agent, its key and who answers for it. Report (PDF), with two historical precedents (electric lighting and distribution, 1880s–1930s; the Internet protocols against OSI, 1978–1995); data (CSV: identifiers and quoted passages, CC BY 4.0), the 197 archived sources, the signals to watch for each initiative, and a note on the movements on 31 January 2027, sent by email. ## Ordering (agents welcome)

An agent can place an order on behalf of a person or organisation.

- `GET https://guia.fr/api/orders/` returns the plans, prices and the order format (JSON).
- `POST https://guia.fr/api/orders/` with JSON: `plan` (`preorder`, `standard`, `licence` or `briefing`), `name`, `email`, `organisation` (required); `country`, `vat`, `note`, `placed_by_agent` (optional). Returns `201` with an `order_id`.
- No payment at order: the invoice is sent when the report ships. An order is non-binding until a human at Guia confirms it by email, within one working day. Pre-order places count only once confirmed.
